Whitening ?

A whiter smile is the dream of many and you can achieve this dream with whitening treatment. The process of lightening the colors of the teeth by applying a bleaching agent containing hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide to the colored teeth of people with suitable tooth structure is called whitening (bleaching)

Vital teeth can be bleached at home under the control of a dentist or bleached by a dentist in the office

In the home whitening process under the control of the dentist; patient-specificdental plaques are made. The bleaching agent in the concentration that the dentist deems appropriate is applied to these plaques by the patient at home, for as long as the dentist deems appropriate. The way of use is determined by the dentist and the patient is called for control at certain intervals

In the whitening process performed by the dentist in the office(office type); to protect the patient’s gums, the gums are covered with a special light-curing barrier. Appropriate whitening agent is applied to the teeth and whitening is completed by increasing the effectiveness of the agent with various activating lights. The number of sessions of this procedure varies according to the condition of the patient’s teeth. Office type whitening is performed under the control of a doctor and gives faster results than at home whitening

The effect of teeth whiteningcan last for 6 months to 2 years depending on the use of the person. Withcareful and appropriate use, this period may be longer

Bleaching of devital teeth: Bleaching is also applied to teeth that have undergone endodontic treatment and have changed color. The restoration in the tooth is removed to provide convenient access to the tooth, and the whitening agent is applied in accordance with the stages, covered and the patient is sent home. Then the patient is given an appointment again. This process is repeated at certain intervals until the tooth color is sufficiently lightened, and when the color is sufficiently cleared, the tooth is closed with a permanent filling material
